Jason Anton Mark Williams was born in San Fernando on the 25th April 1979 but grew up in the close knit community of Erin, a factor which significantly impacted his early life.
From the tender age of 7 he accompanied his mother to various cultural events such as Dimanche Gras and Jou’Vert. This exposure not only enkindled in him a keen interest in the local culture but also a profound appreciation for the music of Trinidad and Tobago.
Throughout his school life, Jason was selected on numerous occasions to host different school events due mainly to his innate ability to be outgoing and conversational. Soon enough, it was not long before he realized that this was a passion of his and he was naturally drawn towards fulfilling a career in the field of mass communications.
In 1996 he was chosen to be a contestant coordinator in the television programme “Party Time” where he shared the stage with Ayanna Lloyd and the now deceased Jason Daly. While there, his professionalism and creativity caught the attention of O’Brian Haynes who in 1998 presented him with the opportunity to become a radio announcer at the music station 98.9.
Once again, opportunity came knocking at his door and he was approached by producer/media personality Lisa Wickham to be a co-host of the t
